WORSHIPFUL MASTER’S MESSAGE
WB WILLIAM L DORMAN JR.
Brethren
I am very grateful and thank
the Brethren for electing me as their Worshipful
Master. Additionally, I thank all of the officers elected and
appointed for their accepting a leadership role in our lodge. I
pray for a successful year for our lodge.
Obligations are of two kinds:
voluntary and involuntary, one as binding in its influence and as
broad its scope as the other.
Involuntary obligations are
not sought nor are they of our own making, but are just as sacred
and binding as if entered into with our full knowledge and
consent.
Voluntary obligations are many
and are entered into with a pledge to support and impartially
perform certain duties or ideals.
It lies with each member who
has knelt at our altar, and accepted the obligation to be a living
example of that obligation. May God, in His mercy, help us all to
keep to the utmost that sacred obligation, and may He make us each
a living example of the truths therein contained. (paraphrased
from an article in Reflections)
WB William L. Dorman
Jr. Worshipful Master
From the West
Brethren, I would like to thank you for electing me Senior Warden
of Williamstown Lodge #166 of F&A Masons.
I appreciate your confidence in my ability to perform the duties
that come with the position. I would like to let all the members
know that I am only a phone call (609 413-2543) or email (Slamer399@yahoo.com)
away. I will get back to you in a timely fashion. I would also
like to thank all the members of the lodge for selling the raffle
tickets for the Women of Hope Charity for Christmas and the
Glassboro Women's Shelter. I'm sure that the Lodge's donation of
$1436 from the proceeds will help make a brighter Christmas for
these women. I would also like to thank Wal-Mart, Slammer Tackle,
and the lodge for the donation of door prizes.
Our grand prize of the flat screen television was won by Will and
Gail Dorman, which I'm sure, will provide many hours of
entertainment for them.
Last
but not least, The Past Masters and Wardens Association are
selling raffle tickets to help out the hospitality room for the
21st Masonic District in Atlantic City. Please help support 21st
District. This room is open to all members of the craft, with free
food and beverages who stop in. Donation is $5.00 per ticket, with
two grand prizes of $250.00 and five 2nd place winners of
$50.00. (I don't want to brag about selling winning tickets, but
sold 4 winning in the Christmas raffle, who knows, you might get
lucky on a $5.00 investment.) Please see me, WB Russ Fuscia or WM
Will Dorman for tickets.
