WORSHIPFUL MASTER’S MESSAGE

WB MICHAEL E. BRENNAN JR.

Thank you for attending last months meeting and for volunteering your help and support for the Beef & Beer and the Summer Picnic. With teamwork anything can be accomplished easily, doing a job of this nature is nearly impossible to do by yourself. Please contact Brother Ryan Morris at 856-629-6306 the chairman of these events if you would like to help out.

This month’s message pertains to a part in the closing charge:

Every human being has a claim upon you kind offices.

What it means to me is to show a random act of kindness to someone. This could be helping out an elderly person for the day by taking them shopping for groceries, opening up a door for someone, or something of this nature to anyone for no special reason. In today’s world of hustle and bustle people seem to forget manners and kindness. I have noticed this a lot lately in my travels and it bothers me sometimes when people do this to people, especially to the elderly or people with a disability. Brethren, please try to show a act of kindness to someone every day, it will set you apart from the rest of the people and hopefully other people will follow your lead.

Last but not least, please remember all of servicemen in the armed forces along with their families and sick and distressed brethren and remember them in your prayers.

Fraternally Yours

WB Michael E Brennan Jr.                    Worshipful Master
