WORSHIPFUL MASTER’S MESSAGE

WB WILLIAM L DORMAN JR.

Brethren

The ritual of our lodge is one of the things that sets us apart from other organizations. With that in mind I would like to request all the officers to review their parts and always be ready to do an opening and a long closing. Additionally, I am asking all the officers to begin learning the Master Mason Degree. I would like to see the sitting officers do the Master Mason Degree at the meeting of September 18th.

Pride according to Webster is a sense of one's own proper dignity or value; self-respect, pleasure or satisfaction taken in one's work or achievements.

Pride in what we do and how we perform should always be "the rule and guide" that we apply to ourselves.

WB William L. Dorman Jr.                    Worshipful Master

LODGE BULLETIN BOARD

From the West

I would like to thank all the brethren who have been coming out to the lodge meetings and participating in the degrees. We have several candidates that are going through the process of

becoming a Master Mason and showing your support only encourages them even more to achieve this goal. The candidates couldn’t believe the amount of people at the Fellow craft degree, and the support of the other lodges in the 21 Masonic district. I believe we had at least 50 Master Masons, if not more. I would also like to thank personally Jeremy Whitman for doing a great job instructing the candidates, it is an important part becoming a Master Mason and requires a lot of

dedication to the craft.

The Lodge is going to have a new, fundraiser this year, a "Spring Fling" (basically a beef and beer) with the Eastern Star at the VFW Hall in Williamstown on the Black Horse

Pike on Friday, May 11, 2007. I will need the help of the brethren and sisters of the Eastern Star to help make this

a successful fundraiser and will have an outline of the jobs and odds and ends for the "Spring Fling" very shortly. Please try to participate in any way possible, no job is too small. Please

contact 609-413-2543 or me via e-mail Slamer399@yahoo.com.

Last but not least, The Tall Cedars of Glassboro Forest #1 is having a fundraiser for a distressed, worthy brother of the forest and a member of this lodge also. The location is the VFW

Hall on the Black Horse Pike in Williamstown NJ. Date is Friday, March 9, 2007 and starts at 7pm.to 11pm. and the cost are $15.00 per person. For more details, please contact Russ Fuscia at 856-629-3379. Please try to attend or make a donation to this worthy cause for this fallen brother, he is a married with a young family and needs assistance as his recovery from his illness will be several months.

Fraternally yours,

Michael E Brennan Jr. Senior Warden
