Dear Brethren
Hope everyone is feeling
good and had a great summer. The Lodge family picnic was a great
success even though we didn't think we were going to pull it off
because of the storms that day. But we did manage to get it in.
Those who did attend over 100 were treated to a feast; corn on
the cob, chicken, hot and sweet Italian sausage, hamburgers,
hotdogs, clams and of course Crabs, which were delicious. Thanks
to everyone who attended and helped out, especially Mike Brennan
and his brother Kenny who did all the cooking for us and helped
with preparing for everything. Thanks to the Eastern Star ladies
who helped out with the salads, eggs and desserts. Especially to
my wife Linda. Thank you all.
A special congratulations to
our Brother Will Dorman, for being selected for the Master Mason
Boy Scout Award, it was my honor to present it to him at the Lodge
Family picnic. He has dedicated his life to scouting and to the
Masons and Eastern Star, and it's really great to see him receive
this recognition. Nice going Will.
We have a lot of events coming
up in September, so please read the trestle board carefully so you
don't miss out on anything going on.
